We found out some more details today. Apparently Becca lost control of her truck, rolled it, and was thrown out of the vehicle because she wasn't wearing her seatbelt.

The fact that this might have been preventable makes it that much worse.

Today I was in the library editing. My parents were putting dinner on the table. We were just waiting for my sister JoAnna to get home. As I was scribbling notes, I heard the backdoor open. I'm taking my ESL certification exam today at 2:00. It's not required for me to get my teaching certificate, but it will look good on a resume and make me more marketable. I made an 82 on the practice exam, and an 80 is required to pass the real deal. Pray that I can squeak by! :)

Okay, so, long story short, I broke up with Ben because I liked our relationship better when we were just friends. I can't remember if I told you on my flist this or not, but he used the L-word when I saw him over Thanksgiving. So, the house I'm living in right now won't be available for me to use next school-year and I've got to find another place to live. Thankfully, two of the girlfriends I made last semester want me to room with them! We want either a house or a duplex sort of thing, and it definitely needs to be on the bus route. A very sweet family I know is going to have a terrible Christmas this year. They just found out that their oldest son, Stephen, was killed in Iraq.
